Group Therapy

Healing alongside people who understand.

There is a particular kind of relief that comes from sitting in a room with people who understand what you're carrying without you having to explain it from scratch. Group therapy uses that shared understanding as a therapeutic tool, not just a support circle.

Our groups are facilitated by licensed clinicians and structured around specific goals, whether that's processing shared experiences, building coping skills, or working through psychoeducational material together.

Who This Is For

  • People who feel isolated in their struggle. Group therapy directly addresses the sense that no one else understands what you're going through.
  • Those working on interpersonal patterns. A group setting gives real time practice for communication, boundaries, and trust.
  • Clients already in individual therapy. Group work often complements one on one sessions, reinforcing skills in a social context.
  • Anyone hesitant about therapy in general. Some people find a group easier to start with than one on one work, and can move between formats as needed.

What's Included

  • Process groups. Facilitated conversation where members share and reflect on current experiences in a structured, safe format.
  • Skills based groups. Sessions focused on specific coping tools, such as managing triggers, communication, or emotional regulation.
  • Psychoeducational groups. Structured teaching on topics relevant to mental health and recovery, delivered in a group format.
  • Confidentiality agreements. Every group opens with clear, mutual expectations around privacy and respect.

What to Expect

Your first group session will start with an introduction to how the group works and what's expected of everyone in the room. You're never required to share more than you're comfortable with. Many clients say the hardest part is walking in the first time, and that it gets easier from there.
