Who We Are
In Hawaiian, mana means spirit, strength, and a kind of power that is passed from person to person, family to family, generation to generation. It's the word our family chose for this clinic because it's exactly what we hope every client walks away with: a sense of their own strength, restored.
Our family's work in behavioral health did not start in Arizona. It started on Oahu, where we have supported people through mental health challenges and recovery since 2001. In 2023, we brought that same calling to Phoenix, opening Mana Health and Wellness as an outpatient clinic built around the values we grew up with: family, dignity, and care that treats the whole person, not just a diagnosis.
We are still a small team, and that is by design. Every client is a name and a story to us, not a file number. We built our model so that the people coordinating your care actually know your care, from your first phone call through every level of the process.
Culturally grounded, not one size fits all. Native Hawaiian values of community, balance, and unity shape how we built this clinic. You do not need to share that background to benefit from a model that treats healing as something people do together, not alone.
Every family carries a story that shapes why they show up for others. Ours does too.
Accreditation from The Joint Commission means an outside organization, not us, reviewed our clinical practices, safety protocols, and operations against national standards and found them to meet the bar. It is one of the most respected accreditations in health care, and we point to it because trust should be verified, not just claimed.
